This is a traditional property, updated with modern interiors. A quiet, yet extremely convenient location provides the ideal home for both the business and leisure visitor. The airy and comfortable lounge is bathed in light from the large windows, and contemporary furniture helps you to rest your feet after a day’s sightseeing. The modern kitchen features sleek design and integrated appliances, allowing you to rustle up your culinary favourites, perhaps using fresh produce from the nearby Castle Terrace farmer’s market. The master bedroom has a sumptuous kingsize bed, leafy views, and calming neutral tones. The second bedroom has a single bed and guest storage. The modern bathroom features a large, walk in shower, full tile walls and heated towel rails. Gardners Crescent is a unique classical crescent by William Gardner (1827) forms an unbroken arc of fifty-two bays facing the railed central garden. It is part of the West End Conservation Area (and World Heritage Site) in the south-west quadrant of the City Centre right beside Tollcross, Edinburgh’s new financial sector, Edinburgh International Conference Centre (E.I.C.C.) and Haymarket rail station. Numerous restaurants, coffee shops and wine bars along with metro supermarkets and specialist food stores can be found within 5 minutes walk. The apartment is located within 2 minutes walk to the entrance of the rejuvenated canal and cycle track and within 5 minutes walk to the Fountainbridge Complex which includes a modern fitness centre, bowling, restaurants and IMAX cinema. A meet and greet service is provided, whereby you will be met at the property to be provided with keys and to be shown the property. Please arrange your arrival with the property manager. Entry to the apartment is from 16:00 onwards; however, please note that arrivals after 19:00 may incur a late arrival fee of 25 pounds for unsociable hours and 40 pounds for arrivals after 11pm. Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed. The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already. A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival, and refunded after departure. All properties are strictly non-smoking, and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old. Please arrange your arrival with the property manager at least 24 hours before arrival. Check in is from 4pm, and check out is before 11am.
