Our pride and joy is our in house restaurant, Michelangelo’s, which offers an exciting menu of dishes from around the country, utilising the finest fresh ingredients grown locally in the region of Tuscany. To complement the gourmet dishes on offer, we keep a fine selection of wines for your perusal – and you’ll know you’ve come to the right part of the world for fine wines if you consult our concierge about a tour of the Chianti region. The bar is open 24 hours a day for guests to refresh themselves with a tipple, also offering an ideal spot to meet friends, make new ones, or just relax and take in the hospitable Florentine atmosphere.

Dubbed ‘the cradle of the renaissance’, this town, which was first founded by the Etruscan settlers in around the 7th century BCE, had its era of glory in the medieval-renaissance years from the 13th to 18th centuries, and even had a brief stint as the capital of the newly reformed Italian Republic in the 19th century before power was transferred to Rome.
