The Ravelston Residence No 2 would love to be your home away from home for your next visit to Edinburgh. This delightful property forms part of Dunedin House, a luxury new development completed in 2016, and as well as stylish, comfortable interiors, treats guests to off-street parking and an exclusive members’ gym. Located in the same building as its sister property, the Ravelston Residence No 1, this apartment sleeps up to 6 guests. This three-bedroom apartment also benefits from a ground floor private entrance and a smart TV with Netflix subscription. The spacious open plan living and kitchen are with breakfast bar island is perfect for a sociable bite to eat before exploring the city. Designer names adorn the individually designed kitchen, home to all of the mod cons you could ever need, while the sleek and sophisticated pastel decor will be sure to charm even the most discerning of guests. After filling your bellies with local Scottish delicacies – perhaps bought from foodie haven Stockbridge market, on every Sunday and just a 15 minute stroll away – you can enjoy with a glass of whiskey at the dining table. When it’s time to retire to something a little cosier, the living area’s gloriously soft sofa and armchairs are at hand to help you relax after a long day’s sightseeing in the Old Town or shopping on Multrees Walk. If you need a little entertainment, there’s a smart TV with Netflix, and of course unlimited WiFi. Three light and spacious bedrooms set the scene for an excellent snooze. Each of the three bedrooms have double beds. All bedrooms continue the cool, contemporary pastels of the main living area, and feature hand-picked artwork and luxury finishing touches. There’s plenty of guest storage, both in the bedrooms and throughout the hallway, so you can unpack and truly feel at home. The family showeroom and additional WC have Villeroy & Boch fittings and heated towel rails. We don’t want to encourage too much hard work on holiday, but gluttons for punishment or those with us on business also have free access to the complex’s private gym, packed with state of the art equipment from Cybex and Star-Trac, as well as a free-weights section. One parking space is available to guests of The Ravelston ResidenceNo 2 (arent we spoiling you?) as well as free evening and weekend parking on the surrounding streets (metred from 8:30am – 5:30pm Mon-Fri). The Ravelston Residence No 2 is located in a leafy suburb of Edinburgh, just a mile from the City Centre and all its attractions, including Edinburgh Castle and the Scott Monument. The private development is tucked away behind Queensferry Road, which has a main bus stop serviced frequently by buses to and from the City Centre, should you not fancy the walk. Stockbridge and the Dean Village are also just a short walk away, both boasting a village-like ambience with independent shops, delis and bars and restaurants. A meet and greet service is provided, whereby you will be met at the property to be provided with keys and to be shown the property. Please arrange your arrival with the property manager. Entry to the apartment is from 16:00 onwards; however, please note that arrivals after 19:00 may incur a late arrival fee of 25 pounds for unsociable hours and 40 pounds for arrivals after 11pm. Earlier entry can perhaps be arranged but depends if there is a departure at your chosen apartment that day. This can be confirmed within 48 hours of arrival. If you are arriving earlier than 16:00 on your day of arrival, it is always worth contacting the property manager as they will always endeavour to give you access as soon as possible. You may be able to arrive early and leave luggage and come back however this is not guaranteed. The latest departure time is 11:00, however, a guaranteed later departure (up to 20:00) can be arranged for a fee of 50% of the daily rate for that day but please note this is subject to no existing booking arriving that day already. A £200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival, and refunded after departure. All properties are strictly non-smoking, and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old. Please arrange your arrival with the property manager at least 24 hours before arrival. Check in is from 4pm, and check out is before 11am.
