Food is supervised by a renowned chef and its menu is a happy blench of market-fresh produce prepared with a slightly French touch. Exterior
This is a small palace set into the age-old walls of Barcelona that architect Rafael Moneo has converted into a five-star luxury hotel. It incorporates impressive archaeological remains from the 1st to the 19th centuries. They include tower-bastion number 28 of the great Roman wall that once surrounded the city, and part of the passage atop that wall which has now been turned into a library. The building incorporates Gothic windows, neoclassic balconies, 19th-century mouldings and medieval wooeden ceilings.
Sala
Medium size, in tune with the rest of the building.
