Rooms
The rooms are well appointed and each one has its own character. They have all the modern conveniences expected of a moderate 4 star hotel and the decor is quite understated. Some rooms are situated around a yard at the rear of the building and entrance is gained by outdoor stairwells.
Restaurant
The restaurant is on the ground floor and is very traditional, relying heavily on dark wood and chequered tablecloths. There is little or no natural light which further adds to the romantic 'olde worlde' feel of the area.
Exterior
The hotel has a traditional appearance, the building dating back more than 200 years. It is a low-rise building with a discreet entrance.
Lobby
The lobby is very cosy with limited seating. The decor is again quite historical and rustic with the stone walls and low ceilings.
