Popular student area, the latin Quarter boasts many cinemas, shops, cafes and restaurants, attracting like a magnet. Around the church Saint-Severin, you will find a net of pedestrianised streets, most dynamic and lively. The river Seine and its book-sellers are very near. Students are in even greater number around the Panthéon, on the boulevard Saint-Michel and near the famous Fountain Saint-Michel.
A piece of advice: walk to the rue Mouffetard, reknowned for its market and to the Square of the Contrescarpe. So much charm and so typically Paris.
The hotel Parc Saint-Séverin**** takes up an ideal location in the Quartier Latin. It is situated rue de la Parcheminerie, a quiet pedestrian street only a stone’s throw from the lively streets of the area. A few minutes walk from the hotel, roam near the Seine bank typical bookstalls, discover the Sorbonne university and the Fontaine Saint-Michel before joining the right bank to see the majestic Cathédrale Notre Dame.
