Rooms
The spacious rooms and suites of the Rocco Forte Hotel de Rome feature state-of-the-art technology and a modern, chic design. Many rooms boast high ceilings with stucco details and all have large bathrooms with glass panelling and heated mosaic floors. The rooms offer a view either of Französische Strasse, St. Hedwig Cathedral or the inner courtyard.
Restaurant
Guests can enjoy a sumptuous "lie-in" breakfast until 14:00 on weekends and public holidays.
Exterior
The hotel is a conversion of an existing building constructed in 1889 by architect Ludwig Heim (appointed master builder of the government), which housed the head office of Dresdner Bank until 1945. This is one of the few luxury hotels in Berlin located in an original building making use of its full architectural splendour and thereby offering guests an authentic Berlin experience.
Lobby
The large lobby has decadent decoration and ample seating.
Location
This extraordinary hotel, dating from 1889, lies right in the heart of Berlin, within easy walking distance of the Brandenburg Gate, and provides a luxurious base from which to explore the city.
