Exterior
The hotel used to be an office building and was converted into a hotel in spring 1999. It has a modern stone, glass facade.
Lobby
The lobby is large with plenty of comfortable seating areas left of the reception. A lobby bar is adjacent to the reception and the hotel is full of film memorabilia like old cameras, spotlights etc.
Location
The hotel is located in the heart of the former western part of the city just on the famous "Kurfurstendamm" within easy walking distance of Berlin's sights and shops. The owner and designer of the hotel is Artur Brauner, a renowned Berlin film nproducer and therefore all rooms are dedicated to national and international movie stars.
