The bathrooms, some of which have been redone in 2003, are well done, bright and clean. The hotel serves a full buffet breakfast in a lovely, bright room adjacent to the lobby and, weather permitting, outside in the enclosed cloister surrounded by flowers. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there are many choices nearby like Cibreo catering. This hotel is small enough to be able to offer personal attention to its guests. Many repeat clients enjoy not only the ambience of the hotel but also its prime location from where you can reach the best corners of the Dante's town.
The hotel has been created in a 16th century monastery located in a residential area, a short walk from the Cathedral (Duomo), Santa Croce, The river Arno,The Sinagoga and the historical center of Florence. The original frescoes have been preserved on the walls. A steep flight of stairs leads to the accommodations, which include six spacious suites, some of which have a nice terrace.
