Exterior
Originally created as a guest quarters in 1400, it was enlarged in the 19th century and in 1975, it became part of the Bettoja Hotels Group. The Villa of Relais Certosa originated as the guest quarters of the Certosa dei Galluzo Monastery, one of the most important monasteries in Europe, a destination of pilgrimages and which hosted hundreds of religious scholars, and, before the Napoleonic pillages, preserved over 500 exquisite works of art where even today one can admire them when visiting this antique Monastery, still occupied by the Cistercian monks.
