The rooms, which have all recently been renovated, are furnished with a personal warm touch often mirroring many suggestions made by our guests. Every room holds a bathroom with bath/shower or only a shower, a telephone with private number, satellite TV, and mini bar. For the comfort and safety of our guests, the hotel is completely climatized and fitted out with a fire alarm system. The reception is open 24 hours and always ready to welcome you to one of our 58 rooms, perfectly tailored to your every need. "Oxford Apartments" is located in another building at 150 mtr from the hotel.
Restaurant
Fabrio, our chef has been creating dishes inspired by ancient traditions by combining diverse Mediterranean cultures for many years. Through his expertise and years of experience, he can also satisfying those who prefer an impeccable interpretation of international favorites. Fabio's menus are based on seasonal specialities and are constantly changing. In our restaurant you will find a peaceful and friendly setting where our extensive and excellent selection of wines, personally chosen by us to help you appreciate the best flavors of Italy, can be enjoyed with your meal. If you prefer a beer instead, you can choose from a wide selection including the best Belgian and Irish varieties.
Exterior
The historical area in which Hotel Oxford is situated is the elegant "Ludovisi-Sallustiano" neighbourhood, which , in times past, was a well-to-do suburb where families owned sumptuous villas. Guests of Hotel Oxford can visit the ruins of " Horti Sallustiani" (about 50 metres away) where the poet Sallustio, once he retired, wrote his masterpieces. This area, after the fall of the Roman Empire, turned countryside and wasn't retouched until the 17th century when pope Urbano VIII had the Barberini Palace built. Few Steps from our Hotel, you can find La Rinascente in Fiume Square: this shopping mall has been totally renovated and you can find best italian fashion brands as well Espresso Area. Via Veneto acquired fame at the beginning of '900 with its characteristic coffee-bar and luxury hotels. In the 1960's, the sumptuous street was frequented by high society figures, as well as famous actors, writers and artists (period of "La Dolce Vita").
