Vincci Capitol Hotel is housed in the emblematic Edificio Capitol, also known as Edificio Carrión, designed in the 1930's by the architects Luis Feduchi and Vicente Eced and a symbol of Madrid's Art Deco civil architecture. It has been used as the set for several Spanish films, such as Álex de la Iglesia's El día de la bestia and Amenábar's Abre los ojos.
