Restaurant
The 'Common' is a favourite rendezvous point, renowned as one of the finest restaurants in the area. With its elegant ambiance and peaceful outlook, this 2 AA Rosette award winning restaurant is the perfect setting for a relaxed lunch or sumptuous dinner. During the summer months you can also enjoy al fresco dining on the terrace, overlooking Cannizaro Park. Picnic hampers can be arranged on request.
Exterior
It's a stunning Georgian style building. The mansion took its name from an earlier resident, the Sicilian Duke of Cannizaro and his Scottish wife. They lived here from 1817 until 1841, when they died within a few months of one another.

The small lobby leads to the drawing room featuring a grand staircase to the right and a bar area to the left.
Location
There is so much to do around the neighbourhood. On a sunny day there isn’t much better escape from everyday city life than an amble around some of the 1,140 acres of Wimbledon Common. If you would like, the hotel can arrange a horse to ride around on, or if that’s a bit daunting you are more than welcome to borrow a bike.
