Rooms
The building is the Halls of Residence School of Music and Drama Guildhall, one of the most 'important conservatories of music and drama in the world. All bedrooms are single study rooms, very clean before being given in the summer. The rooms are mostly 'small and have a sink, a desk and a bathrobe. PLEASE NOTE: THE BATHROOMS, SHOWERS, AND TOILET KITCHENS ARE SHARED with a ratio of 3-5 people and are located on each corridor. Each apartment shares a kitchen / dining room equipped with stove, refrigerator / freezer and microwave.

Exterior
The building is part of the historic "Brewery", founded by Samuel Whitbread in 1750. It's a restored period brick building with a quiet courtyard in keeping with the surrounding buildings.
Lobby
The reception area is small and functional. All guests have to report to reception on arrival to check-in and collect the keys. Access to the apartments and bedrooms can be either through the reception area or directly via the nice courtyard. Note that the courtyard gates are closed every day at 8:00 p.m. for security reasons.
