Exterior
Hotel Casa Verardo is an ancient, 16th century noble Palazzo, acknowledged as Residence d' Epoch. The Palace has been completely restored in the years from 2000 to 2004, maintaining intact its original history, but at the same time, fitting the best modern hospitality standards. The Hotel consists of 4 floors (with elevator/Lift); 2 noble floors with spacious salons, one terrace on the first noble floor facing over a silent, minor canal. On the top floor, a panoramic terrace is also available to enjoy an amazing view over Venice and its famous St. Mark's Tower and the San Mark Basilica's Domes. On the hotel ground floor you will have a lounge bar and a green, picturesque courtyard with a 16th century original well, as a perfect place to relax after visiting the city. The first noble floor of the Palace has already been a “locanda” in the year 1911 and was a popular place for vacations for international and returning guests. A long restoration of around 4 years and the complete renewal of the whole building permitted “Casa Verardo” to become a precious and noted Residence d’ Epoch with 23 original rooms and spacious, noble floors. Antique furniture, pictures from the Venetian School from 16/18 century, wooden carving and gold leaves, coming from famous Florentine craftsmen, lamps from Fortuny, textiles from Rubelli,… and of course all modern international standard are waiting for you.
Lobby
The lobby is on the ground floor. The area is medium-sized with only a few seats and made quite interesting by the presence of an ancient well. On the first floor there is a spacious, relaxing area with tables and chairs.
