Location
DoubleTree by Hilton Turin contrasts with the classical atmosphere of Turin, mixing together old and new to create a contemporary and personal. This ultra-modern hotel was designed by renowned architect Renzo Piano, which integrates past and future, combining the hotel's modern architecture at the newly refurbished Lingotto Fiat plant. On the first floor of the Lingotto is the elegant and exclusive 8 Gallery which houses many boutiques and cafes, an ideal place for shopping. The huge space also houses a fine art gallery, a conference center and a beautiful concert hall: a "city within a city ". Younger visitors can shop in the fashionable Via Garibaldi, while antique collectors and connoisseurs prefer the streets surrounding the Mole, one of the greatest landmarks in Turin, which now houses the Museum of Cinema. Turin boasts a glorious history and retains all the beautiful and ancient monuments that bear witness to its past, such as Palazzo Madama, Palazzo Reale, the main square, Piazza Castello and Piazza Carlo Felice.
